Progress from level 5 with employable skills and further experience in server administration, networking, and data security. Students progressing to higher education will go with a firm skill base and improved confidence and experience. Extend your skill-set in networking and in system administration at QQI level 6.

Level 6 Network Administrator at Mallow College is your opportunity to develop your qualifications and experience in your own familiar and friendly environment before you decide to move on to Level 7 and 8 at the institutes of technology or university – or to apply to get that administrator job in IT.

Our world, our new smart economy, is already entirely reliant on IT and on quality IT trained professionals. You’re getting into an industry with a continuing shortage of skilled staff – across a wide range of fields, from system administration, networks installation and management, to IT customer service and support, to IT management, consultancy, or to finally breaking out and starting your own enterprise, large or small.

2020/21 Applications are now open, and free and easy. CAO points not required. Grant and Social Welfare funding available. To apply online now for September you will just need to provide two essential pieces of information: your email address and your PPS number. Look for this course under Information Technology.
