Bridge for Beginners

This programme is suitable for individuals or partnerships with little or no previous knowledge of the game of bridge and who wish to explore a hobby that will be both fun and challenging.

Course Description

Develop and understanding of the fundamentals of the game of bridge from a student’s perspective, to having the ability to play both for fun or at a competitive level. Bridge is a wonderful way to improve your mental well being as it stimulates the brain and enriches your physical helth. Bridge is fun, it is a social game and an excellent way to make new frineds. Unlike other sports, you can take this game up as a child and play it with enthuiasm when your reach 90 or indeed you can take it up at 90!

Body Massage, Introduction

Learn how to develop basic massage techniques with this introductory course.

Course Description

This programme gives an insight into Swedish massage including a small theory element with brief history of the 5 classical massage moves, as well as anatomy/physiology (how the body works). The practically element will include back, legs, arms and chest. Students will be responsible for providing their own towels and massage oil. This is a great introductory course or simply a way to relax.

Advanced Up Styling

This course if aimed at students who have four of more years experience in hairdressing.

Course Description

The course will provide you with the knowledge and tools to creative bridal and show stopping up dos. Classes will run for three hours per night over an eight week period to give you time and space to enjoy and learn in small groups.
We will cover Bridal for five weeks and show work for three weeks.

This programme is suitable for individuals with little or no experience of manual bookkeeping and who wish to develop their knowledge and skills to record transactions in a manual and computerised bookkeeping environment, especially within a small business.

    This programme is suitable for individuals or partnerships to have a complete understanding of ACOL bridge together with the ability to compete at club level.

    Course Description

    This class in the second in the series and is designed to follow on from Bridge for Beginners course. It will cater for people who have played for a while and need to brush up their knowledge and use of ACOL system. Each lesson deals with a different subject. Comprehensive notes will be provided.
